Beautiful Child & Family Photography in Glasgow & Scotland
Based in Glasgow, and working throughout Scotland and England, I specialise in natural children's portrait photography. I photograph you and your children in your environment - be it your garden, your favourite park or a nearby beach. I encourage your kids to play and explore and then capture their many moods and expressions. I work intuitively, giving your child space and allowing the scene to unfold naturally.
I find children such a pleasure to photograph. I love their impulsiveness, the way they become utterly absorbed in the world around them, and are so responsive to their surroundings. My love of landcape photography also has a big influence on my style. I shoot entirely on location, in the most beautiful British landscapes, using natural light and incorporating elements from the environment.
You will come away from your shoot with a set of timeless, fine art photos that form a lasting reminder of your family as they truly are - unique and often magical images that celebrate childhood, love and family.

There are different series within the range of South African images. The rural series features herdboys on top of a hill, laughing as they herd the cows home at nightfall; young boys playing soccer on a makeshift pitch in Zululand and Xhosa women gracefully carrying huge sacks of firewood on their heads. There are landscapes of the magnificent, unspoilt KwaZulu Natal north coast, and of the wild coast of Transkei.The flower series features a selection of indigenous flowers - from the iconic Strelitzia to the gorgeous Clivia and the delicate Wild Iris, that always flowers just before it rains. The Durban series includes the wealth of characters on Durban's North Beach; an aerial view of the city on a warm summer's night, and the timeworn buildings of the infamous Point Road.
